1. Introducing Direct Debit Payments through GoCardless
Zoho Books is integrated with GoCardless to make accepting Direct Debit payments easier for Customers in the U.K.
Whether it’s a recurring invoice or a one-off invoice, your customers can authorize you to collect money directly from their bank account whenever the invoice is due, which means you always get paid on time. They can also choose to save their account details for future transactions, saving them the trouble of entering their account details again the next time they buy from you.

2. Create Customized Statements
You can already customize your invoices, now you can customize your customer statements as well. Change the title, apply colors and set the header and footer to these statements. Zoho Books lets you add a personal touch to your customer statements.You also have the preference to show the Reference Number of your Invoices and Credit notes so that you can keep a better track of them.
3. Email Template Update
New design and layout for the email templates have been introduced. The Estimate Notification, Invoice Notification, and 'Payment Thank You' Templates have been further enhanced with new design and layout to adding more color and life to your emails.
4. Template Support for Bills Choose either from Standard and Compact template to organize and send your Bills in an even more orderly fashion. This feature also comes in handy if you want to take a printout of the bill and send it to your Vendor.

Good updates, but I see that you are more interested in the layout of the software and not look at the main features as they should see more subjects that the users are requesting that is the accounting part but you do not hear us. Points to improve:
1- Allow to extract bank statements in the bank module; 2- Custom reports add more fields and filters; 3- add attachments in manual journals; 4- create sub-accounts in accounts payable and receive (here I mean that each customer or supplier has to be connected to an account to pay or receive and allow that account to appear in the account plan; 5- Sub-accounts in tax accounts payable. 6-leave the account plan more open allow to create sub-accounts on all predefined accounts Are very important points that most users are requesting.
I'm glad to let you know that all these features are out and live. The 'Direct Debit Payments through GoCardless' is available only for organizations in U.K. edition. All the other features are available for all the editions.

These are not email templates but templates for Bills. If you wish to use them, click the Gear icon and click Templates. In the templates page, click Bills. Here, you can edit and create new templates for Bills.
