to inform you that from Feb 15, 2016 onward, we will discontinue the
search candidate/contact profile in LinkedIn feature. This is due to
LinkedIn's decision to restrict their Open API's. Moving
forward, instead of searching for a candidate's profile through
Recruit, you can look up them up directly in LinkedIn, copy the
profile link, and use it to associate the candidate profile within
Recruit. Please note, that these changes will not impact the existing
associated candidate profiles.

I'm getting this same problem. What's interesting is we are a new user, we haven't authenticated a LinkedIn account yet and the option to do that is no longer available. At the moment we can't authenticate and we can't associate.
We are a new user. We have not authenticated a LinkedIn
account yet. Last week, if I clicked on the LinkedIn button
under a contact's photo a window popped up asking me to
authenticate. When I click that button today, I no longer see
the authenticate window, but instead am asked for the LinkedIn URL to
associate with the contact. However, the associate function
doesn't work. I get the same error:
was a problem in processing the request. Please try again after
sometime. If the problem persists, send us a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
At this point we can neither authenticate a LinkedIn account nor
associate a URL with a contact. Can this be fixed?
