So I'm using Operamail and have tried myopera email (IMAP) and it notifies me the second an email arrives. I tried the same thing with Zoho and there was no notification until I manually checked it. Did I not activate some setting? I did enable IMAP in my Zoho settings. I checked my email settings for both IMAP accounts (myopera and zoho) and they're identical. My username and password work otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the message when I manually checked the server.
On analyzing, we found that your IMAP access has been enabled for your account as required.
We suggest you to fetch poll interval the MyOpera email client to get periodic email notification. We are working in IDLE support, and once we make it available, you will get automatic notifications when an email arrives.
