Hi there. Under Week view, when I click on a particular day, the popup to configure the event defaults to the day before. For instance, let's say I want to setup a meeting at 12 noon on Wed, May 9. When I click on 12 noon on May 9 column of the calendar, the popup is for May 8.
Needless to say, I'm very likely to screw up meetings as a result of this. Can you please fix this?
Hello. I'd like to view a list of all Events scheduled in the system, including ones past due. How do I go about doing that? When I go to Dashboard-->Events, I notice that it doesn't list all Events: it seems to list all future Events and only lists Events as far back as 2 days into the past. I understand I could go to each individual Candidate or Client Contact and view Events scheduled for them, but I'd like to see a list in one place.
Hello. Zoho Recruit doesn't send reminder emails for edited Events. Note that it does send reminders for new events. As a result, when I have to edit an event and need a reminder, I have to actually delete the old event and create a new one. And I'm quite a heavy user of Events within Recruit.
I believe this bug has been around for a long time. I incorrectly reported this problem a few months ago (https://forums.zoho.com/topic/candidate-events-reminder-email-issue); at the time I thought it was happening for all events, as opposed to just edited ones. In any case, I had a conversation with Zoho at the time (Feb/Mar 2011) and it was acknowledged that there was a bug with sending reminders on edited events.
Can someone please look into this? It would add tremendous value to us if this gets fixed. I'm happy to have another conversation, if needed.
Hi there. I'm not able to download emails from Zoho into my mail client. I've suddenly started seeing the following error:
"The server returned the error: The connection to the server “imap.zoho.com” on port 993 timed out."
I'm using Apple Mail Version 4.5 (1084) and I've successfully used it for several months now. None of the mail settings in the client have changed so I'm a bit perplexed. Note that I'm able to send email just fine. And I can check messages on the web interface as well. It's the downloading to the Mac client that isn't working.
Hello. Most times I can add Events without a problem, but sometimes, when I fill out the fields and click Add, nothing happens. The screen doesn't change and the Event isn't added. When that happens, I usually click on the Events tab and try the whole process again. It usually works the 2nd or 3rd time, but sometimes, it just doesn't work.
Hi there. I'm noticed an issue that has recently cropped up. When I set up an Event for Candidates, and setup the reminder email option, I don't actually get any reminders. This was previously working fine, but has stopped working over the last few days. Note that I'm using a custom Event Type called Reminder.
Can someone look into this please? Thanks.
UPDATE: I noticed something else: when I create an Event and set up a reminder email (say for 15 minutes before the event), and when I go back and edit that same Event, the reminder isn't there any more. The "Send me a reminder email" field is back on "--Select--" even though I picked a time frame for a reminder and saved the event. I hope this helps.
Hello. We routinely come across individuals that aren't ready to be presented to clients right away. We would like to manage our relationship with these individuals via Zoho Recruit. For instance, I came across someone the other day that is working in Europe at the moment and isn't available for a good 12 months. I'd like to have multiple conversations with this person over the course of the next several months. I need a way to manage/document the process/relationship as it progresses. Is there a way to do this in Zoho Recruit?
This note is a bit long, so please bear with me. Here is how we're trying to use it --
We are a headhunting firm that recruits for hedge funds. So we have multiple clients with multiple openings. I think the recruiting module (I still have to spend more time on it) will meet our needs with regards to managing the candidate "movement" as their status changes from new/qualified/presented/interview/.../offer/etc.
My concern is that we may not be able to manage our clients and client contacts -- I am thinking we could possibly use the Department tab for creating Clients. But we also need to create client contacts (hiring managers, clients own internal recruiting/hr team members, etc.) -- I tried creating them via Organization-->Employee but it requires the employee to "activate" oneself to be visible. In our business scenario, we would simply add a contact to a client. They would never have to approve/activate. Can this be turned off? I played around with the tool but didn't figure out how to do that.
Also, given the nature of our business, managing candidates is a lot more involving than managing clients. With the recruiting module being a very good fit for managing candidates, I would love to figure out a way to manage clients as well. Now I know we could manage clients very efficiently in Zoho CRM but then we'd have to tweak too many things (I would think) to manage candidates. I'm thinking it might be easier to tweak Zoho People to manage clients rather than trying to tweak Zoho CRM to manage candidates. Would you agree?
