would like to update you about a change that we are going to incur in
the Zoho Discussions Signup flow.
Earlier, the users
with custom domain can sign-up through the <iframe> which will
load the Signup form within the respective portals (Example:
"forums.mysite.com"). However, there were a lot of
security concerns in the earlier approach. Hence we've designed
the flow in such a way that the user will be redirected to
"zohodiscussions.com" URL while signing up. This will
address all the security issues and ensure the signing up process
will be effective from 28th January, 2015.
new Signup flow would be as follows:
"Sign Up" button in the portal page.
"zohodiscussions.com" URL will be loaded where
users can enter the details to signup.
Once the signup
process is completed, the URL will be redirected to the portal "forums.mysite.com".

"discussions.zoho.com", is a public portal and is
accessible for anyone. In the recent days, there is a lot
of Spam Content that gets posted to the portal, which affects
you (as consumers) and also Zoho (as providers). In addition it also
affects other '*.zoho.com' domains and impacts the users in

For example: If you have your portal
as "discussions.zoho.com/<your portal>", from now
on, your portal URL will be redirected to

You may map your custom
domain, to your portal in Zoho Discussions.
