Hi,

Thanks for your interest in Zoho Mobile. Calendar service is already supported as a web app in our mobile site (http://mobile.zoho.com). Sync for contacts and calendar events is in our roadmap and will be made available in future (approx end of 2Q 2009). We expect CRM also to be made available by 2Q 2009.

any updates on sync Issues above?

I am at a loss for dialing CRM contacts through my phone. I switched from exchange server with all office software setup to Zoho a couple months ago and now i'm starting to suffer from outdated business contacts on my phone (Its like I'm back in 2000 before smartphones).

Please suggest a possible solution to access CRM contacts on phone.

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for your interest in mobile CRM. We understand your requirement. We are currently working to make CRM available in our mobile site for iPhone access. The way we are implementing it has provisions to initiate calls, send email etc. to (CRM) contacts from the mobile site. Though this is not a Sync solution to synchronize your iPhone contacts with CRM contacts, you certainly will have the provision to initiate calls straight to contacts from our mobile website. Believe this will solve your requirement.

Sorry that we are seeing delays in completing this as expected. We are shooting to have this completed in October. Regret the inevitable delay and inconvenience. Please let us know for any further details you may require.

Me again, following up with you about issue listed above..

In all honesty, your mobile web solution is simply a square peg in a round hole. 

I am inquiring as to your release date and which phone will be compatible for syncing CRM contacts? It seems that you have fallen behind many other crm systems when it comes to the mobile world and who doesn't contact customers through their cell phone these days? Just do a quick search in blackberry app world or Iphone apps, there are mobile crm apps flooding out of the gates.. while Zoho seems to be dragging their feet.

this is all meant to be constructive criticism and honest sincere questions.

Are you nearing a release for any such sync for any mobile phone?

please shed light on this issue Sathish, I am in the dark.

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the follow up. We are working hard on solutions for both Blackberry and iPhone. For Blackberry it will be a native application and for iPhone and Android, we'll be adding support for CRM in our mobile website. As indicated in my previous reply, you may not have "Sync" capabilities with Zoho CRM contacts but you'll have access CRM contacts for "Call", "Email" purposes. 

We apologize for the inevitable delay that we are seeing in getting this done. We are striving hard to get the first version out as soon as possible (in December). Once again regret the delay. Thanks for your patience.
